After years of delays and lots of fundraising, the new Stud bar held hosted a soft opening on April 12 in advance of its grand opening coming up on April 20. The new venue, the former Julie's Supper Club on 1123 Folsom Street, includes two bars, a dance floor and many events to come.
Some of the historic Stud memorabilia from the old bar on Harrison and Ninth streets was put up, along with more to come. The event was also a fundraiser for the local news, arts and nightlife website www.48hills.com, and a sort of birthday party for publisher and Stud Collective member Marke Bieschke. Don't miss the grand opening on April 20.
